You’re looking to take the next step in your career – leadership – and your manager told you that you need to find a mentor.
You’re sitting there wondering …
- Where in the heck do I find a mentor?
- Does this *unicorn* of a person even exist?
- How do I ask someone to be my mentor?
- Do I just bluntly ask someone to be my mentor?
- How will I know I’ve picked the right mentor?
You’re committed to your career and prepared to do whatever it takes, but this seems absurd – you feel lost and so awkward. Anyone you think about approaching is so busy, burnt out, and overworked and you feel an extra burden asking them to take you on as a mentee.
You’re resisting taking action because it feels so hard.
There must be a better way to find a mentor!
I’ve been there and after 25 years in the engineering/construction industry, I’ve cracked the code when it comes to leadership mentoring.
You don’t want to search endlessly for the (perfect) mentor and the reality is, there isn’t one person who will have everything you need.
The truth is you need a team of expert mentors, all skilled and experienced in their respective niches. A team of mentors who provide timely and relevant information on today’s hot leadership topics to build your skills, knowledge, and confidence.
Imagine it’s time for mid-year reviews, and you need to give some tough feedback. You feel prepared and confident because you’ve just talked to your mentor about handling this exact situation. This is possible — it’s not a dream!
→ You know who to talk to.
→ You know what to ask.
→ You know how to find the information you need.
→ You are NOT a burden to anyone — in fact, you’re the go-to leader in your organization, knowing how to access and leverage the power of your mentor network.
Mentoring is the secret sauce to your success, and I want you to be able to access the best there is. You’ll never have to second-guess a situation again or wonder if you’re taking meaningful action.
Let me show you how!

Are you interested in becoming a mentor or do you know someone you want to nominate?
Check back often as new mentors are being added all the time!
The Leader’s Path is a 12-month program providing you access to top leadership mentors.
Many of the leaders I’ve worked with found they didn’t get what they needed when it came to the people-side of the work from their technical mentor. In some cases, their mentor was often just too busy to meet with them regularly. In other cases, having a mentor within the same company created a conflict of interest.
Some leaders went as far as hiring an executive coach.
If you haven’t looked into it yet, an executive leadership coach for private coaching would cost anywhere from $250 – $500/hour, often with a multiple 4 to 5-figure commitment. Listen, if you need private coaching and are ready to make that investment, go for it.
And if you’re a new leader who isn’t there yet, I want to welcome you to The Leader’s Path.
12-months of access to top leadership mentors.
The investment is a one-time payment of $500 or 12 payments of $50 + applicable taxes.
Understanding that you have a small professional development budget and are still getting started in your career, I don’t think that young leaders should have to pay an exorbitant amount to get mentored.
I wanted to create something that could be accessible and affordable to every emerging leader.

Before Erin started to mentor me, I was unsure about engineering and whether I had made the right decision to pursue a career in a heavily male-dominated field. Not only did Erin reassure me that I had made the right choice, but she was always there with mindful advice for any situation – whether it was schooling or jobs. It was beneficial being able to talk to another woman in STEM who faced the exact same hardships I did over my undergraduate career. With her support, I was able to overcome my second-guessing and grow more confident that I am exactly where I need to be. She helped me learn how to speak up for myself and bolstered my confidence with her own when mine faltered. With Erin’s help, I’ve navigated the intricacies of balancing work and school while prioritizing my mental health. I would absolutely recommend Erin Thorp as a mentor to anyone looking to enter the STEM field.
FAQ’s
Can I join anytime?
Yes, you can join anytime. If you join between the 1st and 15th of the month, you’ll get access to the current month’s topic. If you join after the 15th of the month, you’ll be given access to the following month’s topic. This ensures you have time to access the materials and complete the work before the LIVE coaching call with the mentor experts.
How much time will this program take per month?
That completely depends on you. We suggest a minimum of 2 hours per month is required to see results. That includes an hour on the content and an hour for the LIVE call with the mentor. If you want to get the most bang for your buck, we suggest a few minutes a day – every day – spent on reflection, mindset, and skill-building.
I know a great mentor — can I refer them?
Absolutely! Have them complete the online mentor application form, and from there we will connect to see if there is a topic and fit for them to participate in the program.
Do you offer corporate / group pricing?
Yes! If you have over 10 people looking to join the program, please email me at erin@erinthorp.ca for group pricing.
Do you offer refunds?
Within the first three months of joining the program, if you’re not getting a return on your investment, we will offer a full refund. We will verify your attendance at the live sessions and ask you to send in all your completed worksheets to verify you’ve done the work. The program won’t work if you don’t work it – you get out what you’ve put in. So if you’ve put in the work for the first 3 months and don’t see the value, we’ll happily refund your money. Refunds requested after 3 months will not be granted.
Do I have to show up LIVE?
The short answer is no! You don’t have to do anything. We’re grownups and we all have lives. That being said, you’ll get the schedule for the LIVE sessions (only one per month) in your orientation package, and we strongly recommend/suggest that you do your best to attend.
How does the payment plan work?
If you opt for the payment plan, your first payment comes out at registration, with the following payments coming out automatically every 30 days (using the same payment method as you used at sign-up). If you opt for a payment plan, you’re legally responsible to complete all payments (this is not a subscription – it is a payment plan). Sharing and/or selling videos is illegal (and not cool). Videos will be released on the 1st of each month and available to watch online.
Have other questions?
Email me at erin@erinthorp.ca and I’ll get back to you within 24hours Mon – Fri 9 AM – 4 PM MST. (I’m all about having work boundaries!)
