What Is Lead with Impact?

Lead with Impact is a 6 month leadership development experience that focuses on both the mindset and skills required to be an effective and inspiring leader.

In this training session, Erin helped me become more aware of my leadership abilities and how I can improve in my personal and work life and abilities. She was very informative and did a great job communicating to the group how to try to achieve goals.

This workshop imparted skills to us to be introspective and learn how to prepare, navigate, and get back on track from difficult conversations. Erin was informative and explained how to better assess situations to understand our own and others’ needs.

Through this program, you will learn how to apply the Sage perspective in any challenging situation and convert it into a gift by challenging negative thoughts and acting from a place of empathy and compassion.

In my case, I have been able to apply the Sage perspective at home by being more understanding and showing more empathy when parenting my 8 and 10 year old daughters. I have noticed they are less defensive and more receptive, which allows us to better connect and with this improve our relationship.

Why is this important?

From my personal experience leading corporate teams, project teams, and my home team, I know that to step into our leadership role fully, we need to develop our ability to build and repair trust, increase our conversational capacity and ask for the support we need.

To lead others requires that we know ourselves in a way not previously necessary. We must know how our own moods, emotions, and behaviors affect our team members.

From setting goals, diagnosing development level and asking for the support and direction we need, Lead with Impact teaches individuals how to become empowered leaders by challenging assume constraints and activating points of power.

All Participant Materials & Resources

Module 1: Effective Teamwork

Effective Teamwork starts with a strong foundation. Aligning core team strengths and leadership gaps will allow the group to establish key learning objectives and personal development plans.

Based on the work of 5 Behaviours of a Cohesive Team by Patrick Lencioni, participants will understand how trust, healthy conflict and commitment contribute to a culture of accountability and overall results.

4 hours

Module 2: Mental Fitness Intensive

Most attempts at positive change fail because we stop at insight and don’t build habits. Sustained change towards a more positive mind requires laying down neural pathways to form new habits through consistent daily practice.

This 6-week intensive delivers 1.5 hours of asynchronous learning content combined with 1 hour of in-person instruction every week enabling participants to increase their capacity to learn new skills.

15 hours

Module 3: Building Trust

We know how important trust is in every relationship. The Building Trust program can help your leaders and their team members learn how to build trust in the workplace and repair it when it’s broken.

With the Building Trust program, individuals can understand the impact of their behaviors on building or eroding trust and identify those aspects that need attention to develop and maintain trusting relationships.

4 hours

Module 4: Productive Conflict

Productive Conflict is a classroom training and personalized learning experience that increases self-awareness around conflict behaviors and helps participants effectively respond to the uncomfortable and unavoidable challenges of workplace conflict.

Rather than focus on a step-by-step process for conflict resolution, this training program combines the personalized insights of DiSC® with the proven science of cognitive behavioral theory to help participants recognize and transform their destructive habits into more productive responses. The result is improved workplace relationships that drive results.

4 hours

Module 5: Effective Leadership

In this final module, participants are provided leadership scenarios in which they much apply the mindset, skills and tools learned in the course in order to successfully navigate.  A debrief with the instructor and 360 feedback are provided.
