Lead with Impact II is a 6 month leadership development experience that expands both the mindset and skills required to be an effective and inspiring leader.
Lead With Impact II consists of six 4-hour face to face learning modules; delivered over six months. Each module includes prework, learning materials, practice opportunities and reflection exercises specific to each topic.

Why is this important?
From my personal experience leading corporate teams, project teams, and my home team, I know that to step into our leadership role fully, we need to continuously hone our leadership skills. They truly are a ‘use it or lose it’ resource.
Building upon the foundational mindset and skillset provided in Lead with Impact, Lead with Impact II goes beyond the basics. Delivered in 6 modules, this course explores feedback as motivation, values as a bond that holds us together and the elements of effective teamwork.
Teams are made up of people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, skills, abilities, strengths, communication preferences and motivations. With the right knowledge and tools, participants will be able to strategically leverage these aspects into a high functioning and successful team.
Lead with Impact II dives deep into understanding what motivates our team member, leveraging strengths and unlocking innovation.

Participants must have completed Lead with Impact as a prerequisite.

Module 1: Team Fusion
Teams are made up of people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, skills, abilities, strengths, communication preferences and motivations. With the right knowledge and tools, participants will be able to strategically leverage these aspects into a high functioning and successful team. Participants will build team goals, norms and training practices for improved engagement and leverage organizational values to motivate and inspire.

Module 2: Managing Expectations & Recognition
Building upon the goal setting framework from Lead with Impact I, this session will allow participants to review, create and communicate goals for their specific departments and understand the interdependencies throughout the organization. Participants will also discover the hidden power of recognition as a tool to align and inspire their teams.

Module 3: Effective Communication
Participants will learn and practice the mindset and skillset necessary for individuals and teams to engage in open, balanced, non-defensive dialogue about complex topics utilizing the tools of candor, curiosity and robust follow-up

Module #4: Feedback & Performance Management
Feedback is critical to performance management. During this module participants will learn and practice the two different styles of feedback — developmental and redirecting — and their role in managing the performance of their teams.

Module #5: Foundations of Effective Teamwork
The foundation of teamwork is built by knowing what is keeping us stuck and what is moving us forward. During this session participants will learn various tools and frameworks to support trust, healthily conflict, commitment, accountability and results.

Module #6: From Learning to Doing
In this final module, participants will move from learning to implementation through small group practices and personal reflection exercises. Participants will leave this last session with the mindset, skillset and tools necessary to be an effective, inspiring leader.

Erin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary and is an Associate Certified Coach through Integral Coaching Canada. As a Channel Partner with The Ken Blanchard Companies, she is qualified to deliver a variety of Blanchard® products, both face-to-face and virtually, including SLII®.
In 2017, she authored Inside Out Empathy, a book that explores how to use the superpower of empathy to build effective teams.
With over 20 years of experience in building, developing, and leading high performance teams, Erin is an insightful, curious, and supportive coach, trainer, and facilitator.
